The Grand Prize

Did you know XIX?

It has been some time since I wrote a “Did you know?” column, as I have been quite busy with all of the interesting projects that Greenleaf is involved in. Often it takes some inspirational event to simulate my writing fingers and that is why I appear today on the pages of Greenleafwholesale.com.

I had written before about Direct2Florist the relatively new online portal for retail florist.

The dates are set and the stores and vendors are getting ready to pack up the perverbial tour bus and hit the road. As a reward for those customers that order and maintain their standing orders we are offering a grand prize. This year the Grand Prize is a full day seminar with Floral Business expert Gaylon Pyle plus a Flowers for Kids Training class. Each box that customers place on standing order give them one chance to win, the more boxes the more chances! The final drawling will be held on June 1, 2009

Greenleaf's new Color wheel is ready.

Greenleaf is pleased to announce that we have produced a "Fresh Flower Color Wheel" designed to help buyers and sellers identify specific colors. All of our buyers will have them as well as our preferred vendors and we invite our customers to purchase one or more as well. There are 92 pantone specific colors represented and a contact list for all Greenleaf locations.

The wheels are $5.00 (plus shipping and handling) and can be purchased at any of Greenleaf's 23 locations.
